Olympian Carmelita Jeter and More Gives Back This Holiday

Olympian and one of the fastest woman alive, Carmelita Jeter, is not only a force to be reckoned with on the track but a humanitarian at heart. Recently, the Compton Native along with Blackish actor and the host of the 49th NAACP Image Awards participated in the 64th Annual Compton Christmas Parade. This year's parade was hosted by Mayor Aja Brown and was also attended by other local celebrities and politicians in Compton.

Jeter's humanitarian strides continued the day after as she participated in the Lou Williams Foundation Christmas Shopping Spree in Target at the Westfield Culver City. The Lou Williams Foundation also brought out Clippers players, Blake Griffin, Deandre Jordan and of course Lou Williams himself to spread joy to children this year. The athletes treated the kids shopping at Target and each of them received $200 gift cards from the foundation.
